Dispatches From Pluto

Richard Grant the author of "Dispatches from Pluto Lost and Found in the Mississippi Delta" will be the speaker for our August 10th Luncheon.

"One of my hopes in writing this book is to dissolve those clumsy old stereotypes and illustrate my conviction that Mississippi is the best kept secret in America."

Mr. Grant will describe his conversion from fast-paced urban life to the slower pace of country life. And along the way his introduction to the nuances of race, racism and bigotry, hospitality and family life in his adopted state. He will have books for sale after the luncheon.

Join us for an informative discussion, and feel free to bring new people to the meeting!
